Understanding by Design (UbD) Lessons

For my UbD lessons, I will be teaching from the FOSS Water science kit. To integrate other subjects with the Water unit, I will also be teaching a writing lesson (science experiment designs) and reading. My CT has been extremely supportive in the planning process. We sat down and planned the first four or five days of our unit together, looking at the UbD planning outline. My CT gave me writing templates and books to go along with the unit for my supplemental lessons. I am excited to continue developing the lessons and teaching them- it's coming up soon! I also can't wait to spend whole days in the classroom again!
