"It must be remembered that the purpose of education is not to fill the minds of students with facts...it is to teach them to think, if that is possible, and always to think for themselves." -Robert Hutchins

Hi Lauren -- I finally caught up with your amazing blog! What a terrific time you seem to be having, and what a great job you're doing of documenting it here!
I used to teach pre-kgn., so I can imagine the fun you're having with them. I'm also curious about what similarities and differences you find in the approaches to teaching there, compared to Everson.
Take care,
David
Hi Lauren!
I have been reading your blog through the weeks and am so delighted with the experience you had in Ireland - what an adventure! It will be great for you to share your experience with your students in Nooksack upon your return and, I look forward to seeing you in person when you return to Bellingham.
Have a great time in the UK!
